It has been a busy Fall. Lesley and I left our home in New Haven Connecticut on October 26th so that we could arrive in Fort Pierce Florida before November 4th to vote. On our way south our first stop was in Silver Springs Maryland where we had dinner, a great visit, and spent the night with our friends Herb and Sally Simon. Herb and I are night owls and spent hours in his computer room reading and answering emails while the ladies slept. The next day we drove ten hours to spend a few days with family friends in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. We then stopped in Savanah Georgia, one of our favorite cities on what happened to be Oct 31st Halloween. The Riverwalk was alive with food, music, dancing, costumes, and fireworks.Three hundred sixty two miles later we arrived in Fort Pierce. We unloaded the car and went into town to eat at a place called Cobbs Landing. The young hostess at Cobbs kept smiling and staring at me. I thought maybe she noticed my sponge filter or something. After ordering she came back to the table and told me she remembered me from her old high school John Carroll Catholic. I asked her if she had taken up smoking and she said no and she never would. It was a nice way to be greeted back to Florida. Bob
