To date: since Sept. -08 the IAL Exec. Office has been responding to approximately 15 appropriate emails daily. The majority of these inquiries range from: questions relative to the 2009 San Mateo Conference, how to obtain brochures/Emergency Cards/IAL Newsletters, etc. Occasionally, I have the opportunity to assist someone "get in touch" with a Lost Chords Club, speech pathologists or someone who can help them during. Those responses are very dear to my heart and I take pride in trying to get the most accurate information to people, as quickly, as possible. Keeping our Lost Chord Club list as current as possible and everyone working together to aide newly larynagectomized individuals and their families is one of the most rewarding things I have ever had the privilege to do. This is why I am very proud to be here, working alongside so many club members and IAL folks.....we are making a difference, once person, one family at a time.
